Scroll count has went way down, 124 last time I checked. Wasn't there over 300 at one time?

Yes the count did go down.   Knew this would happen because  an autocleaner was put in so that we would know approximately the real numbers using the site.

It is down to 86 now. That has to be more than just the autocleaner moving out stuff...it means new scrolls are not being added. The zones are staying full for days and days (I am seeing the same codes over and over!) indicating there are fewer people out there, and the low scroll count at the fansite seems to confirm this.

I think that's what she meant.  Before the autocleaner was put in, albums would be added once as people joined the game for the first time and then stay in the rotation long after those people left.  We had a large influx of people when the game first started, but now there're a lot fewer active players... the autocleaner gives us a better idea of just many there are still playing.

I understand that. My concern is there are only 86 people still active in the game. At least that is what it looks like, if the fansite number is correct.

*blink*  Is that surprising?  There are still too many inactive features, it's not as interesting as other games yet.  Frankly, given the forum activity, I'm surprised we even have that many.

Want  to know at a glance how many creatures you have, how many stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, stage 4, how many are adults, how many are gendered, how many are babies

I copied and pasted your name into the add album clicked on do album thing and your scroll appeared.  Not sure why you couldn't add.  I have added them for you.  Would be interested if anyone else is having problems.  My scroll is organised so that I can pick up at least one egg per day and to date have not had any problems adding creatures.
